We hiked along a beautiful road to town for breakfast. There were tall pines, inlets with flowering Lilly pads, willow trees, and an abundance of wildflowers along our picture perfect route.
The early morning air was crisp and cool but a blue sky and sunshine quickly warmed things up. We motored on a sea of perfect glass all the way into the Superior/Duluth inner harbor. Another Bald Eagle flew over. Tom is our biologist so I doubt we will notice these eagles once he leaves.
